I thought I would try my hand at entering some contests on devianArt. The first one was “Envision The Executioner”. I had to do a character design of The Executioner from the newest Resident Evil film. It wasn’t my best work but I’m way outta practice =P. I’ll be uploading it to the gallery section soon. I’m working on another contest entry for “Scott Pilgrim: Create the 8th Evil Ex” contest. This one is looking a little better. I should be finished just in time to make the deadline. When I’m finished I’ll upload both the entries here on my site. I’ll keep ya posted on weather or not I win any prizes =D.

I found this video on The Zeitgeist Movement website and wanted to share. The song “Imagine” covered by the band A Perfect Circle was originally written and performed by John Lennon. The speaker is Jacque Fresco of The Venus Project. Very moving..personal thanks to whoever edited this.

One of my favorite sites on the net is TED. If you’ve never heard of it I recommend it highly. I was watching videos from there as I do often and wanted to share this one on my blog. I always enjoy listening to any talks from Sam Harris.

About this talk

Questions of good and evil, right and wrong are commonly thought unanswerable by science. But Sam Harris argues that science can — and should — be an authority on moral issues, shaping human values and setting out what constitutes a good life.

I’ve decided to start a new blog. On my old site I was using the sites Joomla CMS to host it and found it wasn’t situated for my needs. This time around I’ve incorporated into my portfolio site and I’m using the WordPress CMS as it seems to function better for bogging in my opinion. Hopefully this way I can better manage and update my postings. I intend to use this site for personal and professional articles.
